Cocktails & Preakness IV will take place on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 from 5 - 8pm at RJ Daniels Bar & Grill located at 279A Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, NY. Join us for a day of fun "at the races", which includes:
- Race-Day Festivities related to the 148th Preakness Stakes (main race at approx. 6:30pm)
- Open Bar
- Buffet Dinner
- High-Value Raffle Baskets
- 50/50 Raffle
- Belmont Hat Contest
- VIP ticket option that includes: Top-Shelf open bar, one arm's length of raffle tickets, and a swag bag (retail value $80).
We gather with friends and family to celebrate the life of Ken Pribil Jr. and others like him who battled (or are still battling) cancer. We remember Ken Jr. in a positive light while enjoying the excitement and camaraderie that comes with the Preakness Stakes!
Proceeds directly benefit the Ken Pribil Jr. Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization, whose mission is to support cancer research and college education through annual cancer research grants and annual scholarship awards. Since 2006, the Foundation granted over $75,500 to sarcoma cancer research at multiple research hospitals in the NY area and over $20,000 in college scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Donations made to the Ken Pribil Jr. Foundation are 100% tax deductible.
Optional Race-Day Attire: festive "Day at the Races" attire is encouraged, including of course the fancy hats and gentlemanly bow ties. Break out your Yellow attire to show your awareness for sarcoma cancer.
